Anywho, my friend K wasn't feelin' it so we knew plans were changing. We did attend church, loved it! Then we headed to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. She ordered the appetizer of Avocado Club Egg Rolls (A fusion of East and West with fresh avocado, chicken, tomato, Monterey Jack cheese and applewood smoked bacon, wrapped in a crispy wonton roll. Served with ranchito sauce and our herb ranch dressing)...OMG!!! the best thing ever. It was so good. I then ordered a wedge salad off the "small cravings" menu. During dinner we decided to do a little shopping, since we were at the mall. K found a new pair of jeans and a new shirt. I found that I really hate shopping, LOL, but I knew that already.
K had done some looking on her fancy schmancy phone and found that Sara Evans was playing at Billy Bob's. We decided to go there. First we had to head to K's house for a change of clothes and a makeover. She loves doing hair and makeup. I pretty much always let her do whatever she wants.
Off we went to Billy Bobs. Its about an hour drive over to that area of Fort Worth. Amazingly there was still reserve seating available. Their seating is actually those long (school cafeteria type) tables. They arrange them lengthwise from the stage. We were in B so that was 1 table length away from the stage.
We had a great time. Didn't get home until 1pm. Now off for more fun today. Movie and cheesecake factory, yum !!
